A medium-bodied, detailed and elegant red crafted to express a vision for Shiraz that is uncommon in Rutherglen. This winemaking style heroes red fruits, savoury notes, delicate spice and great length of flavour.
This release from a moderate vintage has great structure and length, with characters of red plum, morello cherries, earth, dried sage, mushroom and delicate cedar notes.
The wine represents the renaissance of the historic Terravinia Vineyard: a tiny four acre site nestled into a north-facing slope overlooking Murray River flats in the Gooramadda sub-region of Rutherglen, 9km north-east of our estate vineyard.
