Join Scion's founder Jan for an intimate vineyard tour amid the buzz of vintage and the Tastes of Rutherglen festival. We'll shine a spotlight on growing Muscat to craft contemporary wine styles that offer a fresh take on a Rutherglen classic, from a dry summer white to delicate dessert muscat and even a muscat spritz!
Discover why we chose this site to plant the vineyard, taste grapes straight from the vine, learn about seasonality and how we grow two varieties of Muscat to make Scion’s fresh and vibrant wine styles.
Then it’s down to the Cellar Door for a special tasting of Winemaker Rowly’s contemporary wines.
WHEN: Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 March, 9.30am
WHAT'S INCLUDED: A small-group vineyard tour, your own bunch of Muscat grapes to snack on and a wine tasting hosted by Scion's founder Jan. Numbers strictly limited to 12 per tour.
TICKETS: $30pp (Scion Wine Club members complimentary)
BOOKINGS: Via Sally at Scion on 0410 635 680. Payment required to secure booking.
