Wine friends of Canberra! We’re teaming up with chef’s hat restaurant Temporada for our annual Scion Winemaker Dinner in the capital. We’d love to see you there. 

Join Winemaker Rowly for contemporary dishes reflecting the best of the season and paired with Scion’s handcrafted, small-batch wines. Good times!

About Temporada

Awarded a highly coveted chef’s hat in the SMH Good Food Guide 2017, Temporada is a partnership between Ben Willis of Aubergine Restaurant and his sous chef, Chris Darragh (who runs the kitchen).

Meaning "best of the season" in Spanish, Temporada (while not a Spanish restaurant) reflects the Spanish way of thinking, cooking and eating that Ben and Chris wanted to bring into the space. The menu changes regularly and focuses on organic produce from local growers and super fresh seafood like oysters, clams, mussels, with plenty of things coming off a wood grill.

Meet Scion's winemaker Rowly Milhinch and our small-but-passionate Cellar Door team for a personalised tasting - including hotly anticipated new releases of our Syrah & Rosé!

In order to ensure all our guests receive a personalised tasting experience at Scion, we require bookings for mini-buses (up to 12 people) and self-driving groups of 10 or more people. To book a time for your group, please call 0410 635 680.

The June long weekend coincides with Winery Walkabout in Rutherglen. We are able to accommodate mini-buses up to 12 people. Sorry, no private coaches or shuttle service at Scion for Walkabout.

As part of Winery Walkabout participation, all private buses must be registered with the festival organisers via this event page.

Join Winemaker Rowly at Saint Crispin (winner of two hats in The Age Good Food Guide) for a modern Australian menu inspired by nature’s bounty and paired with Scion’s handcrafted wines. Hosted in the private dining room upstairs, this intimate dinner is limited to 30 guests.

Join Winemaker Rowly at northside neighbourhood haunt Pinotta for seasonal European dishes cooked with integrity, generosity and spirit, and paired with Scion’s handcrafted wines. Hosted in Pinotta's back dining room, this dinner is limited to 45 guests.
