May Scionista Dinner at Source Dining was an outstanding success!
Both Jan & I (Rowly) and Steve & Jodie from Source were overwhelmed by the positive comments we received during and after the Scionista's dinner. The food was simple exquisite, matched perfectly to our wine. The dinner was fully booked, and bookings are already being taken for 2009!

Vintage success!
Picking starts early - to make the most of the cool conditions we often begin picking in the dark!
Our first day of picking (by hand) went really well - Orange Muscat is always our first variety to ripen, and this year the fruit is looking great! The beautiful aromatic quality of this variety was especially noticeable during crushing - a magnificent aroma to work with!

Our 2005 Durif took out Second Place (Red Wine) in the People's Choice Awards at the Fed Square Showcase Series this year!! Over 1700 thirsty individuals attended - we are very pleased with this result, which is improved on last years' result of Third Place (2004 Durif)

Thanks to the many Scionistas who came especially to see us at this years' Fed Sq Showcase Series! We had a ball and our wines struck a chord with many tasters - we ran out of chocolate again! The event is always great fun and a good opportunity to meet new Scionistas! Thanks again!

Craig McGill, photographer from the book 'Wine Dogs' dropped past, in search of two very handsome Beagles. After administering some food based persuasion, freshly shampooed Biggles and Algie were captured on film for inclusion in the 2007 Edition of Wine Dogs.

Single Vintage Muscat 2006 also known as ‘the serendipity Muscat’ also known as ‘the little mistake’ and 2006 Viognier limited release will be available on Australia Day 26th January. That date is selected as significant in our calendar since it is 5 years to the day when we came to live at Scion Vineyard & Winery .
